Threaded Inserts
0 products
Threaded inserts are essential for repairing damaged threads or establishing durable new threads on any mounting surface. They facilitate the conversion between standard and metric fastener threads. Helical, self-locking, and key-locking inserts are designed to be installed into pre-threaded holes to restore or alter thread dimensions. Rivet nuts and nut inserts are installed through the material, securing it from both sides to form a stable threaded anchor. Self-tapping inserts generate their own threads during installation. Press-fit inserts are compressed for insertion and expand to lock securely when a fastener is engaged. Heat-set inserts are embedded by melting the surrounding material with a specialized tool. Weld nuts offer a threaded solution by being welded directly onto metal surfaces. T-nuts for wood are pressed into wooden surfaces to provide a threaded fixture.
