Y piston check valves feature an angled disc and seat design to significantly lower flow resistance and reduce system pressure drops. These valves allow for easy maintenance and inspection without disconnection from the system. Engineered to guide system media directly through the housing, they maintain flow direction and effectively prevent backflow. The valve opens as incoming media pressure lifts the piston on the inlet side. Conversely, it closes when inlet pressure falls below outlet pressure, with the piston settling back into the seat to halt flow.
