LOCTITE® 243 is a medium strength threadlocker for general applications. It is suitable for all metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, and plated metals. It can tolerate minor surface contamination from oils and prevents corrosion. It can be used on most oil-coated fasteners without cleaning.
